As a special education resource room teacher, I was able to use the wipebooks with grades spanning from 2-4 and honestly, the 3-4 wipebook worked for all grades! Overall it was a hit, and after I tried it, I was able to share them with other classes to use as a center. Overall, it helped review necessary skills for the state assessment.
Some things we did to make the wipebooks work best for our classrooms are:
- put tape over the numbers, shape, etc for centers so when students erase their work after their center turn, the number stays for the next group
- three hole punch to keep then together in a small binder
- reinforced the fold, so the wipebooks don't rip apart when the students use them
Things to know:
-The large newer expos end up splattering, it's best used with the thin expo markers
- It can be used as a whole group or in centers, they can be assigned to students if needed as well, a great resource for do nows, state testing review, or spiral review
Overall it was a great resource to use with special education and general education alike!

These are great for each of the kids in the class it allows them to work as a group in class or on their own individual problems. There is plenty of room for carrying numbers when adding or subtracting. I would definitely recommend having these in classes. They are easy for the students to write on and erase. Those saying that these were two complex for first and second grade must have purchased the third and fourth grade books because these work perfectly for 2nd grade.

My students love these! They love any chance to put away paper and pencil, & engage in conversations with their peers. It saves so much paper, so much time, and gave us a nice new routine to end the year . After just a week, they already know the drill when they see them sitting by the door. I love using these with my students as a warm-up tool. After my students learned how to use them, I can now just let them know which page we are doing for the day and they can complete them independently. I like that there are a variety of activities so we can focus on different areas. I also use them for small group activities. They are super easy to write on and erase.
